The Ferry Conservation District has a busy week ahead, with multiple public events running April 22–25. A Special Board of Supervisors Meeting is set for Wednesday, April 22 at 5:00 PM at the Ferry CD Office, 84 E Delaware Ave in Republic. The public can also listen online.
Also on Wednesday, Earth Day brings several local activities. Curlew Lake State Park will host a ranger-led hike with free Discovery Pass admission. Republic School will hold a school-wide community service cleanup day. The Confederated Colville Tribes will hold an Earth Day Celebration at the Pow-wow Grounds.
