The Ferry Conservation District has scheduled several public events in April, including a Special Board of Supervisors Meeting on Tuesday, April 22, at 5:00 PM at the Ferry CD Office, 84 E Delaware Ave, Republic. The public can attend in person or listen online.
Also on April 22, Earth Day brings multiple activities to the area. Curlew Lake State Park will host a ranger-led hike, and Discover Passes will be free at Washington State Parks that day. Republic School will hold a school-wide community service clean-up day, and the Confederated Colville Tribes will hold an Earth Day Celebration at the Pow-wow Grounds.

The Spring Conservation Fair is set for Saturday, April 25, at the Ferry County Fairgrounds. The event will feature informational booths and resources focused on conservation and sustainable practices. The Ferry Conservation District has served Ferry County since 1947, offering technical and financial assistance to landowners and residents.
