Ferry County has a full slate of Earth Day events this week, anchored by a Spring Conservation Fair, multiple clean-up days, and tribal and state park activities spread across April 19–25.

On Wednesday, April 22, multiple events are planned. The Confederated Colville Tribes are holding an Earth Day Celebration at the Pow-wow Grounds. Curlew Lake State Park will host a ranger-led hike as part of Earth Day, with Discover Pass entry waived for the day. Republic schools are also hosting a school-wide community service clean-up day. The Ferry Conservation District (FCD) holds its Special Board of Supervisors Meeting that same evening at 5:00 PM at the FCD office, 84 E Delaware Ave, Republic. The public may attend in person or listen online.
The Spring Conservation Fair takes place Saturday, April 25, at the Ferry County Fairgrounds. The fair features informational booths and resources focused on local conservation and sustainable practices. The FCD, which has served the county since 1947, also offers technical and financial assistance to landowners interested in conservation-related grants.
