Ferry County is launching a new website to centralize department information and press releases. The site replaces a volunteer-managed system and will include updated pages for all departments. Some pages may be temporarily unavailable as departments reformat content.
The county also approved a 32-hour work week trial for employees from September 1 to November 30, 2025. County offices closing Fridays include Auditor, Assessor, Building and Planning, Public Records, Commissioner, Public Works, WSU Extension, Treasurer, GIS, and Clerk of the Board.
The opioid abatement funding application for FY2027 is now open for organizations to submit via an online form. The deadline and funding amount were not specified in the release.
